Gift for You Card with Gift Bow Die

One of my favorite swaps from Founder's Circle was Sharon Armstrong's card, which was a simplified (and much easier!) version of the gift-shaped card that Shelli demonstrated at Convention and I re-created here. Here's my version of the Simple Gift Card. You could easily add a gift card with a glue dot to turn this into a gift card holder.

Here are the pieces I used for this card:
  • 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Gumball Green (die cut with Gift Bow Die and assembled)
  • 5" x 8-1/2" Crumb Cake Cardstock (scored at 2-1/8" x 6-3/8")
  • 4" x 5" Whisper White cardstock
  • 1-1/2" x 5" Season of Style Designer Paper (I trimmed it down from the piece pictured above)
  • Tag
The Designer Paper is glued over the gate fold in the Crumb Cake cardstock to cover the seam. I did not adhere the bottom of the card closed, but you could if you wanted it to be more of a pocket. The box is adhered to the top of the Whisper White card with Sticky Strip. I laid the tag on the cardstock before I put the bow down so that the tag is secure under the bow.
Check out this video for another version of the "present" card and tips to put together the die cut Gift Bow:
